Got me counting as well. I can "only" count 9 years but I see no reason why I should stop counting now Smiley

Congrats to ya all Smiley-laugh And I can also count 10 years since my very first D-A-D concert out of 30 Smiley-yawn-more

It was in Middelfart, Lillebæltshallen and I'm very lucky to have a photo of me in here taking from Torleif Hoppe himself:

http://www.d-a-d.dk/photos/19980131/11/

I had a bad hair cut, I had a terrible shirt on haha and ohh by the way, it's me doing the "V" sign and wearing the multicoloured shirt on.. I had a lot of arms in my face as you can see!
Most memorable of that night was when I did a "thumbs up" sign to Jesper and he returned it with a smile Smiley-laugh And not to forget that I also got Torleif's autograph on my ticket ( I didn't have anything else) Smiley-tongue

I have never thought that I would become so hooked on a Danish rockband, but I did and I haven't regret it at all. It's the best thing that have ever happend to me and I'm also looking forward to becomming an old long greyhaired lady still rocking to my favourite band of all time! Smiley-laugh So D-A-D thank u for the music!

First concert 11 years ago.

I got to hang with Thorleif and got myself a pair of socks and a guitar pick (I think the guy next to Thorleif is Jacobs guitar tech):

Got Jesper's attention during the concert:

Sorry about the bad pix. My scanner is on strike and the only thing handy was my digital camera.

I´m feeling kind of old here... lol

Tina; I expect the same as you... To be an even;) older lady rocking with my grandchildren (now it´s children) to DAD;)

Hey Tippi, Happy D-A-Danniversary!

And no Dorte, honey you're not alone. I bought No Fuel.. on vinyl waaaaay back in 1989*

I got lost for a wee while along the way, but now D-A-D's music is so interwoven with the fabric of my life now, that I can hardly remember the years without it!

*But I was only a tiny little child ;-);-)

The first time I went to a DAD concert, I think was Feb 1998 on the Simpatico tour Smiley So that's also 10 years ago! But I got my very first DAD album on cassette tape and it was in 1991!

No, no, no, Dorthe! You are NOT old!

I've been a fan since Draws A Circle and I believe we're about the same age;o)))).

And you know what? You NEVER get to old for D-A-D's brilliant music:D!

Just look at the guys themselves, eh.. They're certainly still going strong, right??

So I say, keep up the good work;o))

Yeah. It is actually pretty funny to hear peoples stories.

My first concert with the guys was in 2000 so that must be 7-8 years ago..... It seems like it was yesterday and it was amazing.

Nice tread

Been a fan since Call of the wild LP from 1986. Manly because of Trucker and It's after dark and the rest of the album............but fist concert was in Herning 7. dec 1987 if I remember correctly. They played among others sad sad x-mas and rather live than die infront of 200 people. co-act (warum up)was
DND ( det neodepresionistiske danseorkester) so DAD and DND

Belive I went to my 30-somthing concert last year when they supportet MOTÖRHEAD in Göteborg. And why would anyone stop there.......

You guys... *smile* you are all so great!! Smiley-midget

So nice of you to share all your memories of first concerts...

Its really nice to read... and I can see that somehow all stories are alike... and reminds us, why we get exited before an album release or a concert , and why we have this URL opening up as the first page Smiley-midget

Looking forward to more great times Smiley-midget

Back in school we played Marlboro Man and Counting alot, but my first concert must have been the No Fule concert in Esbjerg at Cykelbanen (old outdoor place) where the headlined a "mini festival". All I remember is the big bed and seeing the show from outside the fence Smiley-midget-sad

Dont know (or am not counting) the shows Ive been to afterwards, but Im guessing its a lot Smiley-laugh

The thing that makes me feel "old", is that I sometimes my hangovers are not gone when I wake up...disturbing!

I've been a fan since 1989-90

I borrowed my best friends bigsisters tape, because of the song "Horse with no Name" (something in school)
I accidently heard the rest of "Draws a Circle"
- and I fell in love!!!

Remember seing the guys in the streets of Aalborg, the day after a concert, back then. Me and my friend were following them, thinking they wouldn't notice Smiley-midget We were to afraid and shy, to contact them. But for several years that was the highlight of my life Smiley-laugh

Now, years later, I have had the pleasure of talking to all of them! Such great guys! Gotta love 'em!!

I never counted the concerts I attended, but it is A LOT!!
(Allways in the front row, a little to the rigth...)

I've been addicted to D-A-D for 19 years now, getting No fuel... from my former Danish penpal. Wow, more than half my life... and still love this band so much!!!!
