Posted: Sat, 2008-12-27 21:28
I'll be watching it though I hate those playback shows.
Posted: Sun, 2008-12-28 13:15
I hope it is not playback this time! I also hate that!
Posted: Sun, 2008-12-28 18:20
Well I truly hate playback but will see it anyway.
Posted: Sun, 2009-01-04 17:40
Yea! need to se it
Posted: Sat, 2009-01-10 20:15
I'm watching the show now, they haven't played yet, but i can't wait til they do!
Think i will be in the chat most of the time, lets have a talk!
Posted: Sat, 2009-01-10 20:27
Think you can wait a while yet. D-A-D usually ends shows like this or at least go on as the last band.
So my guess would be some time between 21.45 and 22.15
Really irretating that thise shows don´t have detailed programs
Posted: Sat, 2009-01-10 20:47
I think that they'll finnish the show with Monster Philosophy
Posted: Sat, 2009-01-10 22:06
Year, you are right, they haven't played yet :S Still waiting!
Posted: Sat, 2009-01-10 22:17
Danm it was cool.. hehe Surprising scene show..
Posted: Sat, 2009-01-10 22:22
Yes never seen a D-A-D show with dancers before! Weird
Posted: Sat, 2009-01-10 22:24
...and it was LIVE, great. Lots of pyro. Funny with the molly dancers and stigge's bat suit.
IT WAS VERY NICE !
Posted: Sat, 2009-01-10 22:32
Wouldn't mind if they used those girls for the tour. Would give us boys a little extra to look at ;)
But nice scene show, with the fire etc. I really hope the tour will live up to it.
Guess I should buy my ticket for forum soon, just ain't really interested in the other bands there... They should've gotten some better upcoming if you ask me...
Posted: Sat, 2009-01-10 22:36
No! No! No! No! I'm.......speachless.. Dancers don't belong on the same stage as D-A-D! And I sure don't hope that they will bring these dancers on tour To me these dancers make D-A-D look like something they're not...
But Stigge... I LOVE your outfit, please wear it on tour
Posted: Sat, 2009-01-10 22:44
Tina-> I completely agree with you... They don't fit in with the music or the image at all, in a way they are kind of "corny".. Loved the performance from the guys.. But the dancers - no way José. Hope they don't bring them along for the tour. D-A-D is about music not about dancers.
Mai Christensen / Binzernator
GREAT! Dancers cool really cool.. Bring them on tour!
Monster P is a great dancing song! so why the hell not?
BUT wouldn't mind if they ( the dancers) got out of the Molly heads so you could see them for real
Funny to see the girl fans in here hating the dancers while the boys likes them
Posted: Sat, 2009-01-10 22:48
Nonononoooo . No dancers!
They take the picture.
Posted: Sat, 2009-01-10 22:59
Well Osaka, could it be that you men like these girls that much because they almost wear nothing?? huh!
I'm pretty sure that if D-A-D brings these dancers on the tour they will get baaad reviews as dancers don't belong on the same stage as a rockband like D-A-D! I am really speachless..
Posted: Sat, 2009-01-10 23:01
Well... It's not because i'm a girl I don't like the dancers. I would love to have dancers if I was going to a concert with Take That or Backstreet Boys, as I think they fit in to their image, show and music.. But not D-A-D. I just don't see the 2 things together in a happy union

MAAAN! Those dancers were awesome...
They reminded me of the good old Girl-nation-days... Which were really cool, actually I think its wierd that D-A-D never have used dancers before...
Actually I think that it is so Rock'n'Roll to have girls dancing, that I can't believe anyone of you would have anything against it...
The girls costumes reminded me of the old music-video, that can't remember right now, you know with the guy in the middle, and girls on each side playing the instruments in next-to-nothing... An orange background... Eahhhh... Can anyone help me? Its gonna bug me all night...
Posted: Sat, 2009-01-10 23:12
jannik you have so right. The same I was thinking!
Sex, drugs n rock roll (and girls)
Posted: Sat, 2009-01-10 23:13
And by the way... Sleeping my day away was on that kareoke-program with Michael Caroe... And the guy bailed, because he couldn't remember what came after:
So if you wanna travel along with me
But it is of course:
You better sleep tight the rest of the day...

Binzernator - that's also my point!
Dancers will appear on stage with bands/artists like Infernal, Me & My, Take That, Britney, Madonna, Prince, Christina Aguilera, Beyoncé, Nik & Jay, Duffy, Katie Perry but NOT with Rockstars, unless their names are Kid Rock & Limp Bizkit!
I react this way because I am a huge fan of them and right now I see them turning themselves into something they're not
Posted: Sat, 2009-01-10 23:32
huge fan? well of course! still each and everyone has a point of view!
I like the band a lot to, but seeing them turning into something different because of some dancers I can't see?
And btw wasn't it about time for the man-part of the audience to see some opposite sex with not that much clothes **host host stigge host host**
Posted: Sat, 2009-01-10 23:53
I can see the part regarding Sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll..
Okay, I may contradict myself now, but I would have had a whole other point of view if it was one or two dancers in each side dancing up against a stripper pole, THAT belongs to rockmusic! Just in case if any dancers should be on the stage..
But having these "Molly" dancers infront of the band makes it seem all wrong.. But I do prefer not having any dancers at all
Posted: Sat, 2009-01-10 23:59
And LOOK Jesper was so distracted by these almost naked women that he couldn't remember some of lines in Monster philosophy hahahahaha (Just kidding)
Posted: Sun, 2009-01-11 02:43
YUK! Worst thing they've ever done :S I agree with Tina, those dancers really turned them into something else. They aren't Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys etc.
It took all the rock 'n' roll away from them. Hope they don't bring the dancers on the tour.
But great performance of the song though- can't wait to hear it live here in Aalborg :P
Posted: Sun, 2009-01-11 10:44
On word: EXCELLENT!
I just saw the video now, as we had guests over last noght. I was told the show wasnt that good, but I must say I LIKED IT! A LOT!
That song will ROCK so much when the go on their tour. Its ment to be played LIVE and LOUD.
Old men hiding behind chicks? NO!
It was such a breath of freah air to see them onstage with femal dancers, that wasnt "real" dancers, but part of the show.
I really dug the Molly Skulle they had on. Made it real dark.
My vote: 10/10.
You dont see a lot of Rock acts do you? I mean other that DAD?
Lots of band uses girls on stage. And not just as backup singers. These girls from last night was used as part of the show.
- Didnt Bon Jovi have backup singers when you saw him? He didnt have those "back in the days".
This was a great song, great stage set up and great preformance (from both band and dancers).
THANK YOU DAD!

I'm pretty sure those dancers were a "one-off". They had to fill that big stage with something.
If the dancers didn't have the molly on I would agree with the female net-pets and say it was too corny - but because they wore that skull I loved it.
Posted: Sun, 2009-01-11 11:33
They wore a skull? I didn't even see that...
Posted: Sun, 2009-01-11 12:17
I would agree with WrittenInWater, the girls made the stage show seem darker, and they didn't just work as "DANCERS" cause they had skulls on.
And they didn't shake their ass like a girl at a Britney concert, but they danced more like strippers, way to go DAD!!!
If d-a-d wants to continue making rock music in DK, they HAVE to do something new. Since 2002 they haven't renewed themselves... That's a lot of years, considering they've released 3 albums since.
Wheater the girls are with on the tour OR not, they still have to do something new, than just play the same old version of the same old songs...
I would like the say that it was nice again to see DAD with an image on stage, nicely dressed but still rock n roll. A more mature style, such as perhaps The Rolling Stones, looked a lot better than the teenage look from SY.
AND why does Jesper keep forgetting the lyrics for MP 2nd verse?
Posted: Sun, 2009-01-11 13:54
Haha, to me it sounds like it's been a while for some of the guys ;) I wasn't bothered by the dancers since the band played on that occasion. But if they had to have dancers on the stage, they should've completed their costumes so they looked a bit more Stig - classier and gloomier! So I'm not irritated by it if it's just a one-off thing, but I WOULD be bothered if it was a permanent part of the show. Not because it's lightly dressed girls; I sure wouldn't like to look at hot male dancers or models for that matter. When I go to their concerts I come to listen to their music, see the light show and look at THEM. I think it was refreshing seeing Laust on the crane this summer, so it's not because I don't like the new elements they pull off. But I come to see them, not some males/females doing a show on the stage..

WIW... I should go out and watch other rockbands than D-A-D and somehow I actually do.
I know that some rockbands uses female backupsingers and I don't mind D-A-D having backupsingers.
But I do prefer just to see Jesper, Stig, Laust & Cobber as they do a great, great job themselves and don't need backupsingers & dancers to make a great show.
If it's only a one time performance with these dancers I can live with it, but just like Kanze I would be pretty anoyid if they're going on tour with D-A-D.
Bon Jovi had a female violin player and she's been a part of the band for a loooong time. Bon Jovi are only: Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, Tico Torres and David Bryan. On stage they have a bass player, violin player and a guy who plays the guitar once a while and that's it. The vocals/ backup they do themselves.
Once a while Jon picks up a woman in the side stage audience, dances with her and in the end gives her a kiss on the mouth, but he's been doing that for ages
And may I just say that D-A-D did a wonderful job last night. I can't wait to go to the concerts and still loves Stigges Batman outfit!

Did anyone record the show ? Or is it possible to watch it again somewhere ?
Sounds like a must-see
Posted: Sun, 2009-01-11 20:00
HorseWithNoName: go to www.dr.dk and watch dr tv!
Posted: Sun, 2009-01-11 20:06
I hadn't seen it, if Hammer hadn't mentioned to me they were gonna play, so thank you for that
I thought the band did good and I enjoyed the dancers. I would not mind them during a few songs on tour with d-a-d, but not too many. Takes away too much attention from the band. But for a few songs I am sure it will be great and fresh.

Maybe someone could youtube it??
Great show btw..
I loved it, and i didn't mind the dancers.. The only thing I think is annoying is the way DR is filming, the cameras are flying around, and changes angles fast and all the time and it bugs me! It ruins the show a little bit.. at least for me it does..
They also did so to P3 Guld when they played Scare Yourself some time ago, when one of the camera-men started to circle around him self..
Posted: Mon, 2009-01-12 01:51
@MGB: I thought so too with the camera job, but I didnt want to post anything negative in my post. But that is the only thing I could say anything negative about, but thats not DADs fault. But it was annoying the way the cam flew around.
I recorded it, and will make a video of it when I get up tomorrow.
Ill post the link in this thread.

No dancers on the tour please!! D-A-D and dancers just don't belong together at the same show. It's not their image. No thank you.
Posted: Mon, 2009-01-12 10:29
I missed the show. Hope one of you recorded it and will be nice to upload it somewhere. Really want to se it, after all the debat in here.
Posted: Mon, 2009-01-12 11:19
I like the dancers, cause it was a tv-show and the cameras made it possible to see something. The scene was way to big, even for Stigge to fill out ;)
but I wouldn't like to see them on tour..
They take up way too much of the picture..

@WIW: no of course it's not DAD's fault that DR sucks at shooting liveperformance..
But I'm glad we agree on it :P
Posted: Mon, 2009-01-12 14:23
Great show, but Jesper should put more effort into singing clean/better for the tour :P
Posted: Mon, 2009-01-12 15:24
hmm.. I haven't read all the answers - but!
I think it's ok to bring dancers - but then I think they should hire a better choreographer!!!! It's was boring...
(Hopefully it was just DR's idea...)
